Finnish metal superstars CHILDREN OF BODOM have named their 8thstudio album “Halo Of Blood” and have unveiled the album artwork.
Coverart was created this time by Sami Saramäki (Follow The Reaper, Are You Dead Yet?, Hate Crew Deathroll).

Mastermind Alexi Laiho commented:
“Halo Of Blood is the 8th studio album from Children Of Bodom and believe it or not but we still managed to keep it fresh

Everyone’s favourite Gin Swilling, Rawkus-bringing, UK Metalcore crew DEMORALISER have just premiered their brand new video for the song ’Eye To Eye’.

Featuring footage from their recent tour with Betrayal and Thick As Blood, ’Eye To Eye’ is the second video lifted from their brilliant debut full length ’A Living Nightmare’ and a testament to the heaviness of their album (mixed by Will Putney: Suicide Silence, TDWP, Amity Affliction) which has been recognised as one of the best debut albums of 2012.

After years as one of the UK’s most successful unsigned acts, London modern metal mob THE DEFILED have signed a worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, who will release their second album “Daggers” this summer.

To whet the appetites of fans, the first song from the album, “Sleeper”, will be released via iTunes this Sunday March 17th. A lyric video for the track has been posted

Last week Heaven’s Basement had their new single ’I Am Electric’ added to the Radio One playlist. Aside from this being fantastic news for the band, we think this is quite a victory for rock in general – its not very often the harder stuff gets daytime airplay on Radio One. ORPHANED LAND, the pioneers of oriental metal music and warriors of light are in the final process of recording their long awaited new album. This release is the band’s 6th full length and marks another big step forward, it is the logical evolution from the last studio release ’The Never Ending Way Of ORwarriOR’.
