Sziget Festival, recently crowned as the Best Major Festival in Europe by the European Festival Awards, has confirmed that Robbie Williams will headline the starting day of the one week long festival holiday in Budapest. The Island of Freedom will host the next stop of the ‘Let Me Entertain You Tour’ of Robbie on 10 August (officially called Sziget Day -1) that is included in the 7 Days Pass. Day -1 tickets are also available in a limited number.

Det finns inte många band som har revolutionerat en hel genre, men kollektivet Wu-Tang Clan kan ha lämnat det största avtrycket i hip hopen någonsin. Det är med bankande nostalgihjärtan som vi stolt kan välkomna dessa kultförklarade MCs till Bråvallafestivalens line-up.

Det legendariska New York-baserade kollektivet Wu-Tang Clan har sedan mitten av 90-talet dominerat hiphopscenen både som grupp och soloartister. Orginalmedlemmarna Ghostface Killah, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, Method Man, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Raekwon, RZA och U-God revolutionerade hela genren med deras hardcore hiphop och skapade en egen mytomspunnen värld. Idag är konstellationen något annorlunda men faktum kvarstår -Wu-Tang Clan tillsammans på scen är en magisk händelse du bara måste uppleva...

The details of the Friday/Saturday/Sunday bands has just been validated, but the ”Running Order” with the schedule will be revealed a bit later! The Day passes will be on sale on Thursday 29th January late in the afternoon*. Caution; remember that the 1 Day passes quota won’t last long because the entirety of our 3 Days passes were sold in less than two weeks! That’s your last chance to get your place in Hell. The year is not even one month old, but the MetalDays lineup is as good as complete already. As usual, a high-class billing is waiting for the fans to be enjoyed. Dream Theater, Arch Enemy and Fear Factory were just added to the bill this week. Med bara två dagar kvar till jul släpper vi idag ytterligare sex tunga akter till Getaway Rock 2015. Vilket blir en tidig julklapp för alla metalfans! Vi är superglada att kunna presentera det grymma livebandet At The Gates och New Wave of British Heavy Metal-legenderna Saxon. Utöver de två ikoniska banden adderar vi även Carnifex, albumaktuella Deathstars, de svenska trashmetal-hjältarna Dr. Living Dead och Toxic Holocaust.

Sziget Festival will once again have more than 50 program venues and now the organizers have started to reveal the music line-up. The Island of Freedom is always the right place for colorful programs and also 2015 will see an event presenting as many genres and artforms as possible. For 2015 Florence and the Machine, Alt-J, Jamie Woon, Blasterjaxx and many more are already confirmed. Early bird passes are available until 31st December.

Med julen runt hörnet kan det kännas långt kvar till festivalsommar och Bråvalla Festival 2015, men misströsta inte! Sex månader går fort och snart är vi äntligen där. Idag fyller vi på det redan imponerade festivalprogrammet med några riktigt tunga punk- och metalband. Vi välkomnar albumaktuella punkrockarna Rise Against och livefavoriterna A Day To Remember. De får sällskap av metalcorebandet Parkway Drive och de svenska giganterna Millencolin.

Få får ett sådant väl mottagande från både kritiker, press och publik som Rise Against fick med sitt album ”Revolutions Per Minute”. Efter det har de varit en kritikerfavorit och med albumet ”Appeal to Reason”, 2008, nådde bandet ut till de riktigt stora massorna...

The Sziget 2014 aftermovie has been released! And the aim is simple: trying to evoke the atmosphere of last August and providing a brief flashback of this year’s festival holiday in Budapest. Eight months before the start of the 2015 Island of Freedom, the Szitizen community is already shaping up, as more than 10% of the available passes have been sold. Sziget Festival takes place on a beautiful island in the heart of Budapest between 10-17 August 2015.

The festival holiday of 2014 has ended in August with a record weekly Szitizen crowd of 415.000, who arrived from more than 85 countries to Óbuda Island in Budapest. The 22^nd Sziget Festival has once again celebrated music and arts with more than 50 program venues all day and night for 7 days...

Here we are: about twenty days will have been enough for all the Hellfest 3 days passes to be sold! It’s the first time this happens: having to announce that the festival is ”sold out” before Christmas! However, as we promised you, we managed to keep some one-day tickets. They should be available by the beginning of January, as well as all the necessary details that will allow you to make a choice between Friday, Saturday or Sunday! Note that not everyone will be able to purchase these ”last chance” tickets, so you will have to struggle to obtain yours before other people, everything will probably happen in just a few minutes!
