According to Hellfest’s depitcion, AHAB are “the kings of funeral doom, a strange and interesting genre that is able to create something so fantastic and captivating with a sedated tempo”. Couldn’t find any better description, but you better watch these guys live to understand the aims of their music and the paths you can be lead to thanks to their deadly, atmospheric vibe. Created in Germany around 2004, the actual members are Daniel Droste (guitar, vocals), Chris Hector (guitar), Stephan Wandernorth (drums) and Cornelius Althammer (bass). Today they have three albums running and a fourth to be released next month. We had a chat with Daniel Droste and Chris Hector hours before the venue to get to know them better, for they’re not a common band at all.

Last couple of weeks brang us some good and some bad news, hence these line-up changes. M.O.D. ceased to exist while Evergreen Terrace, Rings of Saturn and Cattle Decapitation have canceled their tours. Instead of Evergreen Terrace we have PRO-PAIN on the bill, Rings of Saturn were replaced by HORSE THE BAND and MONUMENTS, Cattle Decapitation were replaced by HOUR OF PENANCE and instead of M.O.D. we’ll have DR. LIVING DEAD.
Besides aforementioned PRO-PAIN, HORSE THE BAND, MONUMENTS, HOUR OF PENANCE and DR. LIVING DEAD we’ve confirmed Polish OUTRE, Swedish VICTIMS and NEGLECTED FIELDS from Latvia. If any of these bands will make it to Your line-up or not, you can still win free tickets with ‪#‎mybrutalassault‬ – just see the older posts.

Det börjar dra ihop sig, och med en dryg månad kvar till festival kan vi nu stolt presentera ett nytillskott på inte mindre än åtta fantastiska akter. Zara Larsson, Sveriges just nu största popsensation kommer till Bråvalla, och det gör även punkrockarna Atlas Losing Grip, amerikanska stjärnskottet Daniel Wilson, popmakarna Joel Alme och Jonathan Johansson, norska house-DJn Matoma, succéduon Norlie & KKV och svenskaustraliensiska tvillingarna i Say Lou Lou.

Zara Larssons första riktiga möte med svenska folket var genom tv-programmet Talang där hon gjorde fantastiska framträdanden och vann hela tävlingen. Sen dröjde det några år, och som 15-åring släppte hon succésingeln ”Uncover” som kom att toppa alla tänkbara listor och nominerades till årets låt på P3 Guld...
