Sziget Festival has reached a new milestone by selling out all of the 7 Days Passes before July. The Island of Freedom will also set a new record in the number of nationalities represented at the event, as presales ticket buyers come from a total of 102 countries. Important hint for late-buyers: day tickets are still available, but make sure you decide quickly!

The Budapest-based major festival has attracted a growing number of visitors for the last years and – in spite of an increased capacity – has already sold all 5 Days and 7 Days Passes for the 2016 edition. All Sziget passes include camping possibility, so the organizers also wanted to make sure Szitizens staying onsite can find enough places for their tents.

One of the final lineup updates will leave us with only five announced bands but unfortunately starts with bad news as EYEHATEGOD had to postpone all their European appearances including Brutal Assault. They’ll be replaced by Latvian sludgy post metal TESA. Next on the lineup are the Hungarian Soulfly-style-epigones EKTOMORF and a handful of Czech bands. These however are no fillers, make sure to check them out! First double death metal combo lead by the same mastermind: BRUTALLY DECEASEDand HEAVING EARTH. The first are playing classic Swedish death with their own twist to it, they got their third album on the way and deffo are not just a plain retro but a true powerhouse of their own! The 2015 album Denouncing the Holy Throne by HEAVING EARTH was one of the best death metal record...

As announced before the RheinRiot 2016 at the Live Music Hall in Cologne will take place after W:O:A has ended.

The party begins on August 7th, 2016 and therefore during the deconstruction phase of the W:O:A. So this might be the perfect break for everyone who is traveling back south after W:O:A has ended and for those who can’t get enough Metal!

The event will be headlined by the incomparable Arch Enemy. The band just had some lineup changes and got even stronger with the new lineup.

DevilDriver from the USA are a true guarantor for epic live shows too and we are looking forward to hear their new songs live!
