Roskilde Festival 2014 offers more contemporary US hip hop acts with the mythical Earl Sweatshirt flanked by rising stars A$AP Ferg and World’s Fair.
Earl Sweatshirt is just 19 years old, and he’s already entered the second phase of his career.
Once he was the mysteriously absent member of West Coast collective OFWGKTA, and now he has returned to the stage with his solo album Doris from 2013 which ranks among the most acclaimed hip-hop releases in the past year.
He is now confirmed for a show at this year’s Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
Roskilde Festival’s programme director Anders Wahren says:
”Earl Sweatshirt one of the most outstanding representatives of American hip hop right now. He missed the show when the infamous Odd Future crew delivered an overwhelming show at Roskilde Festival in 2011. Now we’re looking forward to finally getting him on stage to demonstrate his superior technical brilliance.”
Also, rising star from the East Coast A$AP collective A$AP Ferg and the hardcore party crew World’s Fair are confirmed for this year’s Roskilde Festival. Already, the line-up includes the pop hooks and heavy beats from Pusha T and a reunion with the legends from Dilated Peoples. And more is on the way…
Approximately 160 acts are expected to play at Roskilde Festival in 2014.
The line-up includes acts as diverse as Arctic Monkeys, Haim, Major Lazer, Pusha T, Rob Zombie, Trentemøller and MØ.
Roskilde Festival 2014 takes place from 29 June to 6 July 2014 in Denmark.A ticket costs 1910 DKK incl. fee (approx. EUR 256).
