13 BLOODY KICKASS SONGS, 13 CHANCES TO ROCK

„What we see around us is a world made of lies. Reality is rarely experienced it is escaped! Gashes of unbelief rattle our earthly path as we try to keep our illusions intact. Our human instict kills our creed and eats our brains. Yes, we prey on the living. You cant escape the truth! You will soon awake in the savage playground..” -states the introduction by the band, as a kind of explanation of the abstract context of the 4th Crashdiet album’s wild dream. The Savage Playground was one of the first rock productions released this past January, providing almost a full hour of totally crazy, orgasmic bliss for the rocking audience. The savage playground is THE SLEAZE ALBUM of today, written with capital letters, for all who have at least a tiny bit of sleazy feelings in their lives. In contrast to the last Crashdiet disc, Generation Wild, this album contains lyrcal hits alongside the wild glam tunes. My favorite is Excited, the melody of which stays with you all day. It’s as if the air is frozen around you for three minutes with all thought circulating in the creamy nothingness. After this frozen time, you go mad with the Cocain Cowboys track with the crazyness of it all. To be honest I can’t say that any of the tunes on this album are not that sexy. It provides 58 minutes of enjoyment. Thirteen bloody kickass songs, thirteen opportunities to rock. The album is as wild as their playground, as sweet as your nightmares.

Crashdiet’s new work is the hottest disc of 2013 in the sleaze world – although the quality comes as no surprise -, showing the way for modern and utopic hard rock nostalgy and the corresponding glam lifestyle…
