DANISH ROCKERS TO WORLD PREMIERE BRAND NEW MATERIAL IN DENMARK, FEBRUARY 2013!

COOL, SLICKED-BACK rockers, Volbeat, will return to live action in Denmark in February 2013, having been away from their home country (performance wise) for almost two years.

In celebration of this prodigal event, the band will give fans the chance to hear the usual Volbeat staples peppered with a selection of brand new material in intimate club surrounds; this world premiere of new songs will take place over a series of club shows running from February 19th – 24th.

Volbeat embark on their next world tour in March 2013, kicking off in Canada and the US before headlining an extended European festival run over the summer.

In the UK, VB are confirmed to appear on the bill at the Download Festival 2013, set to take place June 14th – 16th at its usual stomping ground of Donington Park.

The Treatment – "THen & Again" covers EP to get full release on 21st January

PROUD BRITISH rockers, The Treatment, have confirmed the re-release of their five-track covers EP, ‘Then & Again’, via Spinefarm Records.

Originally limited to 300 signed physical copies and recorded in celebration of Record Store Day on April 21st 2012, ‘Then & Again’ was produced by Airrace guitarist/songwriter Laurie Mansworth, who also produced the band’s debut album, This Might Hurt – issued through Spinefarm in September 2011.

‘Then & Again’ – a choice selection of ’70s covers – will be available on CD from the January 21st 2013.

COMBICHRIST ANNOUNCE RELEASE DETAILS FOR "NO REDEMPTION" – THE OFFICIAL DMC (DEVIL MAY CRY) SOUNDTRACK

The time has finally come, Combichrist will be releasing their long awaited Devil May Cry (DmC) soundtrack, entitled ‘No Redemption’, through Out Of Line Music on January 28th 2013.

The creators of DmC, one of the most popular computer game series, could have hardly chosen a more fitting partner to write the soundtrack than charismatic singer/producer/songwriter Andy LaPlegua and his band Combichrist.

The singer, who is very passionate about the game, comments: “As an avid gamer myself I was honoured to be asked to work on this project. I had a lot of fun digging myself into Dante’s psyche in order to create music to match the battle scenes and am equally as excited to license existing Combichrist music. Manchester Indie-rockers Darktown Jubilee have announced that their forthcoming single Stay is now available to stream online:

Released on February 18th and taken from the forthcoming album The World, The Flesh & The Devil (Feb 25th), Stay is the emotionally charged follow up to 2012’s Breakdown and was mixed by world renowned producer and engineer Cenzo Townsend (The Vaccines, Maccabees, Editors).
