Pinkunoizu Free Time! Album released 26th March 2012 on Full Time Hobby

Following the brilliant PEEP EP, the spectral Pinkunoizu are set to release their debut album, Free Time!, on Full Time Hobby. Named after the Japanese word for “pink noise” and based in Copenhagen and Berlin, multiculturalism is at the forefront of this band’s world – they play an exotic mixture of lo-fi, high-life, nu-folklore, ’60s Asian pop and post-apocalyptic future rock. “Most of what I write comes from picking up exciting words or phrases from wherever I stumble upon them,” says chief songwriter Andreas Pallisgaard. “Or maybe it simply comes from floating around like some empty receptor, open to letting the language of the world flow through me.”

Self-recorded in the rehearsal rooms in the German and Danish capitals, Pinkunoizu’s debut album is a meditation on the...

SCUM, the classic 1987 album from grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH, has been remastered with Full Dynamic Range and is out now on CD. The album will also be available on limited edition coloured vinyl LP in the coming weeks.

SCUM was originally released 25 years ago to little fanfare but, unknowingly at the time, would go on to spawn an entire genre, influencing others for decades to come. To this day, the album is still widely hailed as the most important grindcore album ever made, and regularly features in charts listing the best metal albums of all time.

SCUM has been remastered especially for this release from the original tapes with Full Dynamic Range (FDR), allowing the music’s nuances to shine through, giving the whole album a more ferocious and dynamic sound, and enabling the list...

House Of Metal 2012

House of metal 2012

Visst levererade banden men publiken svek.

Eluveitie – Helvetios

Artist: Eluveitie
Album: Helvetios (Nuclear Blast)
Genre: Melodic death/folk metal
